Funny: when I was in sports business and fortunate enough to do sales training for some awesome and hungry young men and women on their first job out of school, we called this tactic that opens up prospects from the feeling of a cold call: “I/My Statements.” In life, if we are real and raw and open in our communications, the best and tightest bonds are formed!
